Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AralMate ("the Service"), you enter into a legally binding agreement with AralMate. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access the Service or must delete the application immediately.

2. Eligibility & Minors

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • Parental Consent: If you are under 18, you represent that you have reviewed these Terms with a parent or guardian and have their permission to use the Service.
  • Educational Use: AralMate is a study aid and does not guarantee specific academic results or grades.

3. User Accounts & Security

  • Accuracy: You must provide valid information (such as a working email) during registration.
  • Security: You are solely responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • Account Deletion: Users may request account deletion at any time via the in-app settings. Upon deletion, all personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Premium Access & Payments

AralMate offers "Premium" features via one-time payments.

  • Billing: Payments are processed through PayMongo using QRPh, Maya, etc.
  • No Auto-Renewal: Your 30-day access is a one-time purchase. It will not automatically renew. You must manually purchase another period to continue using Premium features.
  • Refunds: Since payments are processed via Google Play, refund requests are primarily governed by Google Play's Refund Policy. You may also contact our support for assistance with technical issues.

5. AI-Generated Content & Disclaimers

AralMate utilizes Artificial Intelligence to generate quizzes based on the Philippine DepEd K-12 curriculum.

  • Accuracy: AI can occasionally produce "hallucinations" or factual errors. Users should verify important information against official DepEd textbooks.
  • Usage Limits: To ensure service stability, we may impose "fair use" limits on the number of quizzes generated per day.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
  • Use the Service to generate or distribute defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content.
  • Use automated bots to access the Service.
  • Share a single Premium account among multiple users.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Our Rights: AralMate owns all app branding, code, and proprietary algorithms.
  • Your Rights: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the generated quizzes for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AralMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data or academic standing) arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notification or email. Continued use of AralMate constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
